SewaMitra 24 is committed to providing reliable Skilled, Semi-Skilled, and Unskilled Workforce to its customers. This Refund & Cancellation Policy outlines the terms governing service bookings, cancellations, advance payments, refunds, and related matters. By accessing or using our website or services, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agreed to be bound by this Policy.

1. Service Request
Upon receipt of a service request, SewaMitra 24 may initiate various administrative and operational processes, including workforce availability assessment, verification, screening, selection, documentation, coordination, deployment planning, and other related activities. As these processes require the expenditure of time, effort, and resources, a refund may not be available in every case.

2. Service Cancellation
(a) Cancellation Before Confirmation
If the customer cancels the service request before it has been confirmed by SewaMitra 24 , no cancellation charges shall ordinarily be applicable. However, where SewaMitra has already incurred reasonable administrative or processing expenses, such charges may be deducted, if applicable.

(b) Cancellation After Confirmation but Before Deployment
If workforce allocation, selection, scheduling, travel arrangements, or any other preparatory activities have already commenced, SewaMitra 24 reserves the right to deduct the actual administrative and operational costs incurred. The remaining amount, if any, may be refunded at the sole discretion of SewaMitra 24.

(c) Cancellation After Workforce Deployment
Once the assigned workforce has departed for or arrived at the designated worksite, no refund shall ordinarily be granted. However, SewaMitra 24 may, at its sole discretion and depending upon the specific circumstances of the case, consider an exception.

3. Cancellation During the Course of Service
If the customer terminates or discontinues the service after its commencement, the customer shall remain liable for all charges accrued up to the date of termination, including but not limited to deployment charges, work performed, wages, travel expenses, administrative costs, and any other actual expenses incurred by SewaMitra 24.

4. Unavailability of Workforce
If, due to unavoidable or unforeseen circumstances, SewaMitra 24 is unable to provide the requested workforce within the agreed timeframe and no suitable alternative arrangement can reasonably be made, the customer shall be eligible for a refund of the applicable amount already paid or, with the customer’s consent, the service may be rescheduled.

5. Replacement of Workforce
Where a genuine and verifiable complaint is received regarding the deployed workforce, SewaMitra 24 shall make reasonable efforts to provide a suitable replacement, subject to availability. A refund shall be considered only where a suitable replacement cannot reasonably be arranged. All complaints shall be evaluated on the basis of the facts, supporting evidence, and SewaMitra’s internal review process.

6. Circumstances Where Refunds Will Not Be Granted
Refunds shall ordinarily not be granted under the following circumstances:
– The customer provides incorrect, false, misleading, or incomplete information.
– The customer fails to provide a safe, secure, or legally compliant working environment.
– The customer cancels the service at the last moment after confirmation.
– The customer refuses to accept the service after the workforce has reached the worksite.
– The customer breaches the Service Agreement, Terms & Conditions, or any applicable policy of SewaMitra 24.
– The service is affected by Force Majeure events, including but not limited to natural disasters, pandemics, government orders, riots, strikes, transportation disruptions, or other events beyond the reasonable control of SewaMitra 24.
– The work is delayed, suspended, or interrupted due to any act, omission, or default on the part of the customer.

7. Refund Process
Where a refund is approved, the amount shall ordinarily be credited to the same bank account, payment instrument, or digital payment method through which the original payment was received, unless otherwise required by applicable law or technical limitations. Refunds are generally processed within 7 to 15 Business Days from the date of approval. SewaMitra 24 shall not be liable for any delay attributable to banks, payment gateways, financial institutions, or other third-party payment service providers.

8. Payment Disputes
In the event of any dispute relating to a payment or refund, the customer shall first contact the SewaMitra 24 Customer Support Team. The matter shall be reviewed based on the relevant facts, supporting documents, and applicable policies, following which an appropriate decision shall be communicated to the customer.

9. Fraud, Misrepresentation & Unlawful Activities
If SewaMitra 24 reasonably suspects that any payment, identity, service request, documentation, or transaction involves fraud, impersonation, forged documents, misrepresentation, or any unlawful activity, SewaMitra 24 reserves the right to cancel the service without any obligation to issue a refund and may initiate appropriate legal proceedings or report the matter to the competent authorities.

10. Amendments to this Policy
SewaMitra 24 reserves the right to amend, modify, update, or replace this Refund & Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice. Any revised version shall become effective immediately upon its publication on the official website unless otherwise specified.

11. Governing Law & Jurisdiction
This Policy shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Republic of India. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with this Policy shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the competent courts having territorial jurisdiction over the location of the registered office of SewaMitra 24.
